Corporate & Compliance Executive

We are hiring a Corporate & Compliance Executive in Malta. This part-time, office-based role gives you direct responsibility for corporate and compliance work within a growing audit and advisory practice.

The Practice

EGM Assurance is a dedicated audit, tax, and advisory practice where work is handled with clear ownership and close client contact. Our corporate services look after companies from incorporation onwards, and you will work directly with the people leading each engagement.

Who This Role Suits

This role suits someone precise, dependable, and comfortable handling confidential information. Whether you are starting out in corporate services or already have MBR experience, you will be given clear responsibility and the support to grow into it. The part-time, office-based hours offer a steady routine alongside studies or other commitments.

What You Will Handle

You will look after a portfolio of companies from formation onwards. This covers incorporations, changes to directors, secretaries and registered office, share transfers, allotments and other changes in share capital, annual returns, beneficial ownership updates, and the statutory registers and registered office files that go with them.

On the compliance side, you will collect and review client due diligence documents, carry out screening and ongoing monitoring using our AML software, and keep client files complete and inspection-ready. You will liaise with the MLRO on onboarding decisions and any matters that need escalation.

Core Requirements

Strong attention to detail; good written and spoken English; organised and reliable when managing deadlines across a portfolio of companies; discretion with confidential client information.

Useful Experience

Experience in corporate services, hands-on MBR filings, or exposure to AML/KYC work and screening tools is an advantage, along with a relevant qualification in law, accountancy, business, or compliance.

How You Will Grow

You will build practical knowledge of Maltese company law, corporate services, and AML/CFT compliance through live client work, regular review, and support for relevant training.

Why This Role

You will take on real responsibility early, work closely with the principal, and see the full life of a company, from formation to annual compliance, in a practice where standards are high and your work is visible.

How to Apply

Submit your CV and a short note about your background and why this role appeals to you. If shortlisted, we will schedule a short introductory call and guide you through the next steps.
